Role Overview

The Restaurant Cook is responsible for working within the venue's premium areas and restaurants, adhering to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. This seasonal role offers an hourly wage of $23.00 CAD and benefits such as pension matching.

• This role runs approximately from June 1st, 2025, to October 15th, 2025.
• Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no deadline.

Venue Information

Welcome to Rogers Stadium , a new outdoor venue in North Toronto with a capacity of 50,000. Oak View Group manages the stadium's Food & Beverage services during a season of 12-15 concerts from June to September. This is a great opportunity for part-time work and a fun environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff following recipes and specifications.
• Follow instructions from the executive or sous chef.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Ensure timely and high-quality food output.
• Maintain professionalism with coworkers and customers.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Garnish dishes creatively and aesthetically.
• Prepare correct quantities to meet daily needs.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook in a restaurant or venue environment.
• Culinary diploma or professional culinary certificates.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in task execution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Availability to work various shifts, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
