Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Restaurant Clerk in Winnipeg, MB. The role supports daily customer service, operates the cash register, and helps keep the department stocked with fresh products.

The successful candidate will share product knowledge with customers, handle inquiries, and maintain a clean and safe work environment while contributing to a positive guest experience. Open availability and a friendly, go-the-extra-mile attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and process transactions.
• Share product knowledge with customers.
• Ensure the department is stocked and presented well.
• Ensure only the freshest products are displayed.
• Assist customers and answer inquiries to provide a positive experience.
• Clean equipment and work area to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Use knives and other equipment as required safely.

We are hiring for a Restaurant Clerk at our Pembina location in Winnipeg, MB.

Shift times are 6:00am-2:00pm.

10-15 hours per week.

Open availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
