Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Winnipeg, MB is hiring a Grocery Clerk for the Pembina location. You will work 8–15 hours per week with an afternoon shift window (1:00pm–10:00pm) and help maintain stock, assist customers, and operate the checkout in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes a positive customer experience, product knowledge, and a proactive approach to keeping the department well presented and sanitary.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering friendly customer service in a retail setting.
• Familiar with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
• Able to knowledgeably present products and keep displays stocked.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Assist customers and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain well-stocked and tidy departments and proper product presentation.
• Ensure freshest products are displayed and inventory is orderly.
• Handle inquiries and provide courteous service.
• Assist with cleaning equipment and work areas to maintain safety.

We are hiring for a Grocery Clerk at our Pembina location in Winnipeg, MB. Shift times are between 1:00pm-10:00pm. 8-15 hours per week. Open evening availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
