Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Restaurant Clerk for our White Rock location in Surrey, BC. Shifts run from 5:00am to 10:00pm, up to 40 hours per week.

The role involves operating a cash register, stocking, and providing friendly customer service in a fast-paced grocery setting. You will handle customer inquiries, share product knowledge, and maintain safety and cleanliness in the department while contributing to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred in a retail setting.
• Ability to greet customers, answer questions and resolve issues.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and assist customers at the service counter.
• Maintain well-stocked and appealing department displays.
• Share product knowledge with customers and help with selections.
• Address customer inquiries and provide a positive, friendly experience.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.

We are hiring for a Restaurant Clerk at our White Rock location in Surrey, BC.

Shift times are between 5:00am-10:00pm.

Up to 40 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$18.25 - $21.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
