Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Restaurant Clerk at our Sunwood location in Coquitlam, BC. You will be responsible for serving customers, operating a cash register, and sharing product knowledge while keeping the department stocked, clean, and well presented.

We value a passion for great food, strong work ethic, integrity, and a proactive attitude. Prior retail customer service experience is an asset, and there are opportunities to learn and grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience is an asset.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions.
• Willingness to go the extra mile and provide friendly service.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.

Compensation Details:

$18.25 - $21.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
