Restaurant Assistant Manager

Location: 4736 Lakelse Ave, Terrace, BC V8G 1R6

Salary: $72,200 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek

Terms: Permanent, full-time employment, with shifts in the day, evening, and weekends. Starts as soon as possible. 1 vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
• Monitor staff performance
• Recruit staff
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise and train staff
• Determine services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate with suppliers for food and supplies
• Address customer complaints and provide excellent customer service
• Supervise food preparation and portioning
• Ensure quality standards for food and service
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations

Experience and education

• 5 years or more of relevant experience
