Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. You will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing restaurant operations, including supervising staff and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
• Train and mentor staff on customer service, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu quality and consistency.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to improve guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support financial management by tracking sales and expenses.
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.

Skills:

• Proficiency with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking.
• Knowledge of food handling practices for safety and quality.
• Experience in restaurant management or similar roles in the food industry.
• Strong leadership skills for managing a diverse team.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and bartending skills.
• Excellent communication skills for staff and customer interaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Job Details

• Type: Part-time, Permanent
• Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
• Hours: 20-30 per week
• Location: Edmonton, AB (On-site)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
