Responsibilities

1. Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
2. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, service techniques, and hospitality standards to maintain high-quality service.
3. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items to minimize waste.
4. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
5. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
6. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow during peak hours.
7. Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary to enhance team productivity.
8. Assist in creating schedules that optimize labor costs while meeting service demands.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
3. Proven experience in team management and training staff effectively.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
5. Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
7. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of restaurant management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30-40 per week

1. 8 hour shift
2. Evening shift
3. Monday to Friday
4. Morning shift
5. Night shift
6. Weekends as needed

Salary: $22.00 per hour
