A Response Operator screens and assigns incoming phone calls and provides administrative support to the public, RCMP and Police Services support staff.

Duties - Union

• Processes and responds to all incoming calls and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide general information to the public regarding police policies and regulations.
• Creates, maintains and distributes resource material.
• Provides training to new team members.
• Regularly monitor, transfer and respond to Police Services email proxies.
• Creates, updates and maintains documents and information into databases.
• Performs general clerical administrative duties.
• Assists with scanning information and entering updates on various RCMP /Police Specific databases and programs.
• Provide administrative support to assist various departments as/when required.
