Our Marketing Team at large exists to tell the story of Electronic Arts and expand the positive power of play. This encompasses all our amazing games and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, FIFA, Apex Legends, Battlefield 2042, and It Takes Two (Game of the Year, 2021). We build meaningful relationships with our players worldwide through strategic, multi-channel campaigns and global engagement initiatives, ensuring our brand remains consistently engaging and prominent.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Integrated Communications, Skate & Action Adventure, as the Studio Communications Lead, you will develop and implement integrated strategies that tell studio stories resonating with potential recruits, fans, and communities, while also rallying internal teams through various communication channels.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Create authentic and inspiring brand stories for Motive Studios to attract future talent, boost team pride and retention, and engage our player communities.
  2. Collaborate with senior studio leaders to develop consistent identity, messaging, and narratives across internal and external communications.
  3. Work with Integrated Communications teams to develop stories and messaging aligned with launch programs.
  4. Build strong relationships with the studio GM and leadership to understand their communication needs and industry trends.
  5. Partner with the Operations and Culture team on initiatives that enhance team retention and attract talent.
  6. Identify strategic press and event opportunities to position studio leadership as industry thought leaders.
  7. Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage projects effectively.
  8. Support the studio GM in organizational changes through timely and transparent communications, fostering trust among employees and players.
  9. Contribute to culture and reputation management strategies to retain and attract talent.
  10. Foster an environment for team growth and development aligned with company values.
  11. Manage relationships with PR agencies.
Experience And Skills
  1. 7+ years in Communications; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  3. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
  4. Fluent in both English and French.
  5. Creative thinker focused on objectives, driving innovative ideas and best practices.
  6. Relationship builder, adaptable, problem-solver, and collaborator in a global setting.
  7. Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and improve strategies.
  8. Confident communicator, able to make recommendations and handle challenging situations.
  9. Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented.
  10. Team player willing to roll up sleeves and contribute actively.
