Job summary

Une entreprise d'assurances recherche un(e) Conseiller(-ère) initiatives et programmes pour coordonner et suivre des projets de modernisation. Vous serez Product Owner pour un projet de mise en œuvre de Guidewire, collaboration avec plusieurs secteurs et équipes est nécessaire. Le candidat idéal doit avoir au moins 5 ans d'expérience pertinente et un diplôme universitaire dans un domaine approprié.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en tant que Product Owner ou dans l'analyse des affaires.
  • Compétences intermédiaires en anglais requises.
  • Connaissance du secteur de l'assurance est un atout.

Summary : Within the Management – Practice Evolution department, as Conseiller(-ère) initiatives et programmes , you will coordinate, follow up on initiatives and projects under the responsibility of the vice-presidency, collaborating with various sectors and teams. You will act as a product owner for the business sector in major projects, including modernizing the brokerage systems from L'Unique to Guidewire. You will work with different sectors to clearly identify and prioritize requirements to meet organizational goals. Additionally, you will contribute to developing the business line's strategy and tactics.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Act as Product Owner (PO) in a major project to modernize systems to Guidewire, including responsibilities like writing, prioritizing, and refining.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and content experts from various sectors.
  • Represent the business realities and considerations of brokerage distribution within the teams.
  • Participate in defining delivery strategies and ensure their execution.
  • Prepare documentation related to execution (Jira) and activity tracking.
  • Coordinate and monitor all initiatives, ensuring alignment with the vice-presidency's priorities.
  • Serve as the reference sector contact for project management teams and collaborators (IT, Standards, Actuarial, BI, Telephony, etc.).
  • Work with sectors to determine and track metrics of initiatives and programs (such as ROI).
  • Maintain constant communication among the vice-presidency sectors.
  • Lead workshops related to initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to change management activities related to assigned projects.
  • Ensure results are visible to management.
  • Act as a resource person with the project office and cross-functional teams as needed.

Qualifications and skills :

  • Minimum university education in a relevant field or PAA, FPAA certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner (PO), in business analysis, project management, or relevant experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English (spoken and written), due to the nature of tasks and interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers, or to meet company growth objectives.
  • Knowledge of brokerage distribution is an asset.
  • Good understanding of various business areas related to insurance sector.
  • Certification in improvement or agility methodologies is an asset.
