As a PLM («Product Lifecycle Management») Lead Administrator within the Digital Technology (DT) organization, you will support PLM solution definition and evolution and help meet Pratt & Whitney Canada business objectives.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Support the Digital Transformation in leading teams to build DT solutions aligned with the P&WC’s PLM roadmap.

  • Implement DT solutions within P&WC organizations within the PLM Landscape including integration with other major DT applications, such as Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience, SAP and Solumina.

  • Implement solutions in alignment with DT Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security constraints, follow best practices and standards and ensure they are respected by 3rd party vendors and fellow developers involved in the implementation of digital solutions.

  • Play the role of PLM Administrator for the implementation of digital solutions in support of the projects mentioned above. As such, you manage operations of the PLM Platform and track them through a kanban system, such as build/deployments, installation of software, implement performance monitoring and track KPIs, participate in troubleshooting sessions, implement DevSecOps processes, implement automation tasks through scripts, manage PLM configuration; improve and document operations processes; support the Tech Lead, Solution Architect and the Project Manager for project plan definition and execution.

  • Leverage the DEVOPS methodology to shorten the time-to-market of the digital solutions.

  • Participate in maintenance, problem resolution and upgrade tasks.

What do you need to be successful?

  • A bachelor’s (computer science or equivalent) degree with 5+ years’ experience.

  • You are acknowledged as a Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience PLM Administrator with knowledge in installing and managing operations for this platform, Linux OS and scripting.

  • Experience in working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and with DevOps practices (Jira, TFS, Confluence, Github).

  • Knowledge of PLM and experience with a leading commercial PLM platform. Knowledge of Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience platform is a plus (CATIA, VPM, Enovia).

  • Experience in a Technical Delivery Lead role: supporting and leading developers, including offshore development teams. Experience in software architecture, implementation and validation.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, daily, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

This position has been designated as ‘onsite’, with regular in-person work at our premises.
