Summary of the Position:

Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is seeking its next Engineering Technical Manager.

The Autonomous Production Team Leader (REAP) is responsible for ensuring production results by supporting their team to meet safety, quality, cost, schedule, and personnel objectives, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction both internally and externally.

Main Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Motivate team members to achieve high performance and engagement.
  • Analyze and distribute workload among team members.
  • Act as the technical authority and focal point for their team and other departments.
  • Assist in resolving technical difficulties during production operations.
  • Monitor and control tasks to prevent defects and non-conformities.
  • Implement measures to meet delivery deadlines and quality requirements.
  • Support team members in daily tasks, problem-solving, technical guidance, and motivation.
  • Participate actively in improvement initiatives to enhance team functioning and performance.

Requirements:

  • Professional diploma in Structural Assembly or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in production; equivalent experience and training may be considered.
  • Excellent technical skills in structural assembly and system installation.
  • Experience in personnel management is an asset.
  • Proficiency in aeronautical technical language, plan reading, and IP/BAPS knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Motivator, team builder, and able to maintain team spirit.
  • Pedagogical ability to share technical expertise and develop team members.
  • Ability to exercise authority and evaluate team members' technical performance.
  • Technical and human discernment.
  • Proactive in ensuring mission completion as assigned by superiors.
