About us:

Resicare Society of Calgary consists of a team of professionals who are dedicated and committed to providing comprehensively, integrated and high-quality support services to disabled individuals.

Job Details:

  • We are seeking 2 experienced Respite Support workers to support our female and male individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • They both have behaviors, and our male individual uses a walker.
  • Duties will include community outings and daily activities.

Respite Rate: is $139.76/24 shift up to $559.04/month

Start Date: Immediately - It will be 2 weekends a month in your own home Fri-Sun.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or equivalent formal education in Rehabilitation Services and Social Services.
  • 2-year experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities.
  • A valid First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration certificate is required.
  • A current police clearance check is REQUIRED UPON INTERVIEW.
  • Candidate must drive and have a valid class 5 driver's license with a 2 million liability.
