Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN) invites applications for a full-time childcare provider in our Child Respite Home in Delta, BC. You will deliver nurturing care to children from infants to teens, ensuring a safe, warm environment onsite and in-home as needed.
Under supervision, you will address developmental needs, teach life skills, and collaborate with caregivers and staff. Qualifications include Infant/Toddler or ECE credentials and 2 years’ relevant experience with children with special needs.

The respite worker will possess demonstrated skills to properly address developmental needs of infants and toddlers; while ensuring a safe, warm environment for people accessing services onsite and in home as needed.

The Respite Home Worker is required to work a variety of 12 hr shifts, 9 am to 9 pm or 9 pm to 9 am, with the possibility of other shifts to cover absences which may include days, evenings & weekends. There will be flexibility required for the position and the hours and days of work may change, including overnight shifts, to meet operational and health and wellness needs of the respite home.
Pay scale for this position is $28.61 to $32.18 per hour with excellent benefits including enrolment in the BC Municipal Pension Plan. Placement within the pay scale is based on a review of skills, experience & internal equity.
