Job Summary

The Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Respirologist for a one-year position starting July 2025. The successful candidate will join the Respirology group practice, providing inpatient and on-call services. Current services include pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, and bronchoscopy access.

About the Hospital

Abbotsford Regional Hospital is a 272-bed, University of BC-affiliated facility offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, inpatient pediatrics, renal, cardiology, and tertiary palliative care, with a helipad and 24/7 emergency services serving approximately 69,000 visits annually.

Responsibilities

1. Provide inpatient and outpatient respirology services.
2. Participate in on-call duties.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including internal medicine and subspecialty groups.

Qualifications

• Royal College Examination in Internal Medicine & Respirology completed.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in all areas of Respirology.
• Experience in interventional respirology and pulmonary fibrosis is an asset.
• Full CMPA, CPSBC registration, FRCPC certification or eligibility.
