Respiratory Therapist - Sleep and Allergy Clinic

• Compensation: $30 to $46 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: 4 days per week, including days and/or evenings until 7:00 p.m.
• Position: Full-time, permanent, weekdays

Reporting to the Director of the Sleep Apnea and Allergy Department, the respiratory therapist will handle medical services related to sleep apnea and participate in the Allergy Clinic.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess cardiorespiratory function for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes (polygraphy, pulse oximetry, CPAP therapy)
• Treat patients of all ages with cardiorespiratory disorders
• Perform respiratory function tests such as spirometry
• Educate and re-educate patients on respiratory health, including inhaler use, smoking cessation, and breathing exercises
• Support physicians in the Allergy Clinic
• Conduct Holter, ECG, and ABPM tests
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment in the sleep apnea department
• Perform other related tasks

Required Profile

• Mobility to work at various locations in the Quebec City region (discussed with the manager)
• Experience in a sleep clinic setting
• College diploma (DEC) in Inhalotherapy Techniques
