Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks a Respiratory Therapist II – Anesthesia Tech to join the anesthesia care team in Edmonton. You will operate and troubleshoot anesthesia and monitoring equipment, assist with airway management, invasive monitoring, and support OR and radiology anesthesia locations.

Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, you will coordinate respiratory therapy services, develop care plans, manage equipment inventory, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and help ensure quality

Qualifications

• Active or eligible CRTA registration.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and under stress.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor respiratory therapy in assigned area.
• Operate and troubleshoot anesthesia and monitoring equipment.
• Assist with invasive monitoring and airway management.
• Participate in intraoperative rounds and care planning.
