Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program and successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care exam are required.
• Must possess and maintain CPR Level C certification and NRP certification.
• Effective management of diverse patient needs in emergency situations is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic assessments and interventions related to respiratory therapy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and equipment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for patient care strategies.
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment and ensure quality control.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff education.
