Fraser Health Authority seeks a Respiratory Therapist for Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC. You will provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to adults, children, and infants within a busy acute care unit.

The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, education responsibilities, and ongoing involvement in quality improvement and program development. A Regular Full Time position with growth opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam.
• Eligible for membership with the CSRT and BC SRT.
• Current CPR Level C and NRP certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic assessments and interventions for respiratory therapy across age groups.
• Maintains complete and accurate documentation and workload statistics.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient goals and strategies.
• Maintains and calibrates respiratory equipment and logs supply needs.
• Contributes to quality improvement by developing procedures and patient materials.
