Job summary

Interior Health in Penticton, BC seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a permanent part-time 0.81 FTE position in acute care. The role includes participation in High Acuity Response Team (HART) transports and ongoing multidisciplinary care.

Positions may qualify for recruitment incentives up to $15,000 and relocation allowances. Rotating day and night shifts are required, with hours from 07:00 to 19:15 and 19:00 to 07:15.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• Successful completion of the Health Professionals Credentialing Exam (HPTC).
• Eligible for CSRT and BCSRT membership.
• Current valid BC Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing respiratory care in a multi-disciplinary setting for acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Collaborates with other health care professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintains and advances clinical competence and participates in approved research or committees as assigned.

Education

Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program

Successful completion of Health Professionals Credentialing Exam (HPTC)

Eligible for CSRT and BCSRT membership

Current valid BC Driver's License
