Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) has a permanent part-time (0.81 fte) Respiratory Therapist opening. Days of work are rotating and shift times are; 07:00-19:15, and 19:00-07:15.

About The Position

Within a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment, Respiratory Therapists (RTs) deliver ongoing respiratory care to individuals facing various illnesses or conditions, spanning from acute to chronic cardio-respiratory ailments. Operating both autonomously and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, your focus is on improving the quality of life for patients and their families. Respiratory Therapists are dedicated to continuous improvement and the adoption of best practices in respiratory care, while constantly advancing their own clinical proficiency. Additionally, they contribute to committees, teams, and approved research initiatives, further enriching their professional contribution to the field.

About this location:

Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is a referral centre for three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan. Our Emergency department sees upwards of 36k visits and we have 129 acute beds and 102 extended care beds and offer a full range of health services to the community.

Penticton has one of the best year-round climates in Canada, where you can enjoy two beautiful lakes, acres of parks, and wilderness trails on the local mountains.
