In staffing and deployment, your role will involve managing and optimizing employee deployment to ensure the right talent is in the right place at the right time.

Meaningful work you’ll be a part of

As a Resourcing and Deployment Senior Manager, you will work with problem-solving teams to address business challenges, deliver high-quality client service, and improve operational efficiency. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Working with the National Resource Management Leader and local teams to support the execution of the current Assurance Business Strategy related to Deployment Management.
  2. Maximizing resource utilization by understanding capacity and facilitating cross-site resource sharing based on skills and career development.
  3. Leading the East Assurance Canada RM team, providing coaching, performance management, and training on financial and workforce planning tools.
  4. Managing operational activities including resourcing for high-profile clients and coaching local RM teams on best practices.
  5. Supporting the implementation of business transformation initiatives, such as flexible talent models and service centers.
  6. Building relationships with key leaders to influence and drive strategic resource management objectives.
  7. Innovating data reporting solutions to enhance decision-making capabilities.
  8. Developing strategies related to headcount, mobility, and talent management.
  9. Overseeing resource management processes, driving improvements, and standardizing procedures, including the implementation of related technologies.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Fluency in French is required for Quebec-based roles; proficiency is an asset outside Quebec.
  • Proven ability to support and execute resource management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Deep knowledge of resource management, staffing strategies, and capacity planning.
  • Experience in leading teams, fostering diversity, and building relationships across levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consulting skills.
  • Strategic and creative project management experience, especially with high-profile clients.
  • Adaptability, professionalism under pressure, and multitasking skills.
  • Participation in business transformation initiatives, including new talent models and service centers.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and implement national standards using sound judgment.
  • Experience with innovative data reporting and analytics, storytelling with data.
