Job description

A career in Resourcing and Deployment within Internal Firm Services offers the opportunity to work in cross-line staffing, helping our network become more agile in dynamic markets. You will focus on ensuring the right resources with suitable skills are available for projects, managing education, planning, and skills development. Our team maximizes resource sharing and enables PwC delivery through staffing, forecasting, utilization, and workload management, considering development and diversity initiatives.

Meaningful work you will be a part of

As a Resourcing and Deployment Senior Associate for Assurance, you will be part of a team solving business issues, delivering high-quality client service, and improving operations. Responsibilities include:

  1. Strategically plan and oversee the allocation of Client Service Staff (CSS) to align with firm priorities, meet business metrics, resolve unassigned clients, and manage reallocations for new joiners/leavers.
  2. Utilize continuous planning and scheduling to meet utilization targets, focusing on staff leverage and peak season metrics.
  3. Gather information on staff career goals, strengths, and opportunities to match staff with appropriate client engagements, via Partners and Managers coaching.
  4. Collaborate with RM professionals to share best practices, improve processes, facilitate staff borrowing/lending, and participate in technology enhancement initiatives.
  5. Build relationships within the line of service to establish trust and promote resource sharing across regions.
  6. Analyze productivity reports and business needs to develop workload balancing and utilization improvement plans, aligning staff interests with firm needs.
  7. Review financial results monthly, partnering with leadership to recommend operational solutions on utilization, chargeability, and headcount.
  8. Develop expertise in RM technology, especially TalentLink Staffing & Deployment, to support planning, forecasting, reporting, training, and technological enhancements.
  9. Ensure staff assignments meet quality standards (QMSE).
