VACFSS is looking for a motivated Office Manager for the Resources department. This position requires training, mentoring, supervising, performance management, and overseeing work assignments for administrative support staff. The Office Manager will demonstrate teamwork, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring all Resource duties including caregiver contracts, Resources filing, off-site filing, criminal record checks, visa credit card reconciliation, and cheque requisitions are completed by the required deadlines. Support will be required for the recruitment of foster caregivers, including mail outs, applications, and contract processing. Coordination of the Foster Caregiver Appreciation dinner and Cultural Camp annually, along with other tasks as assigned by the Resources Program Manager, consistent with the position classification. Weekly supervision meetings with each Resources administrative assistant and bi-weekly team meetings.
This position involves participating in OSH meetings, completing OSH minutes, and managing office safety and maintenance tasks. You will also provide cross-program coverage when the Guardianship Office Manager is on leave, including supervising the Guardianship administrative assistants.
