Family Services of Greater Vancouver is seeking a Resource Worker to support clients in housing access, childcare coordination, and connection to community resources in Vancouver, BC. This 21-hour-per-week role emphasizes flexible scheduling and trauma-informed, client-centred care.
You will work with Family Counsellors, maintain updated housing/daycare information, and assist with emergency access and child-minding, while benefiting from a supportive workplace and opportunities for growth.

Our team is made up of more than 420 staff, including expert counsellors and support workers who provide compassionate, client-centred care to youth experiencing homelessness, families and children impacted by trauma, victims of domestic violence, and other vulnerable people from an evidence-based, trauma-informed lens. This multi-faceted position works with Family Counsellors to support clients in securing and moving to permanent housing; securing appropriate childcare for their children; providing emergency supervised access and in-office child-minding; and linking clients to appropriate community resources. In addition to working closely with families, this job requires that the Resource Worker will continuously update relevant information related to housing and daycare.
