Job summary

The Manager, Resource Pathfinding in Yellowknife reports to the Director, Mineral and Energy Strategy Division within the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment. This role leads the planning and execution of industry pathfinding programs and acts as GNWT's authority on navigating the regulatory framework for resource development.

It requires advanced knowledge of multi-jurisdictional regimes and the ability to interpret regulatory, consultation, and policy requirements across

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory systems, northern institutions, corporations, government systems and communities.
• Experience in consultation, facilitation, conflict resolution and multi-party negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, strategic advisory services to resource proponents and clients navigating the regulatory framework.
