Job summary

New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program (EMP) is hiring a Resource Nurse to provide clinical guidance and leadership to EMP staff in home-based care across New Brunswick. Under the manager's supervision, you will train staff, develop policies, and implement best practices to support patient- and family-centered care.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to advance home health care delivery, ensure staff competencies, and promote safe, high-quality care in home settings.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with active RN status.
• Five years of EMP experience preferred (within eight years).
• Strong teaching, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Must have CPR Level C certification valid within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to EMP staff.
• Lead staff orientation and ongoing education programs.
• Develop and update policies, procedures and training content.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based home care.
