Marks, part of the Propelis Group, is seeking a proactive Resource Manager to lead weekly resource planning across a global creative team. You will forecast needs, allocate talent, and partner with producers and leads to ensure smooth project delivery.

You will manage relationships with CGI artists, retouchers, photographers and editors, using cloud tools to drive accurate reporting and timely decisions. This role hybridly supports a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary studio.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a CGI-led studio environment.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud-based tools like Excel, Keynote, Outlook, Mac, Flow, Crew Planning and Workfront.
• Resource reporting to enable data-driven decisions.
• Resource monitoring including timesheets, holidays and absences.
• Freelance networking and maintaining strong freelance relationships.
• Relationship management with CGI artists, retouchers, finishing artists, photographers, video editors and animators.
• Problem solving to prioritise resource conflicts and escalate solutions.

• Confirm all studio resource bookings with discipline leads, weekly in advance
• Work with the Resource Manager to proactively identify risks before they impact delivery.
• Forecast, source, onboard and book freelance resources when necessary to meet fluctuating demand.

A proactive, process-led resource manager, experienced working in a fast-paced creative environment. An empathetic problem solver with brilliant interpersonal skills, used to working efficiently and autonomously in a multi-discipline production studio. A trusted partner for producers, project managers and discipline leads who takes pride in casting the right talent for each request, not just filling gaps in a spreadsheet. A networked team player who understands the nuanced individual talents and capabilities of every creative, CGI artist, retoucher, video editor and animator on the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development & implementation of weekly resource planning processes across a global team.

• Resource reporting - provide accurate, timely and relevant data to the business and studio leadership team to enable decision-making.
• Resource monitoring - timesheets, holidays, absences etc. working with existing Marks platforms
• Freelance networking -managing and maintaining strong freelance relationships and ‘black book’
• Relationship management -building, managing and maintaining close working relationships with CGI artists, retouchers, finishing artists, photographers, video editors and animators
• Problem solving -prioritising resource conflicts and escalating proposed solutions

The Ontario pay range for this position is $50 CAD to $70 CAD hourly Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's experience, skills, knowledge, and other job-related factors.
