The Ministry is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual who is a flexible team player for the position of Resource Maintenance Supervisor within Cypress Hills Provincial Park of Saskatchewan Parks Service. Reporting to the Park Manager, this role is key to the Park Management team and oversees park maintenance operations.
The successful candidate will prioritize and assign work, inspect work standards for staff and contractors, and operate and maintain various park facilities and equipment. This includes potable water/sewer systems, power tools, equipment operation, shower buildings and fixtures, playground structures, wildfire suppression, plumbing, carpentry, solid waste, wastewater treatment, landfill environmental standards, pesticide and herbicide application, ground maintenance, landscaping, ATV operation, and trail grooming.
Knowledge of risk management standards, OH&S, WHMIS, and TDG is required. Strong communication skills are essential to provide clear instructions and training to staff, contractors, and the public.
Qualifications include holding a valid Class 1 Water Treatment and Distribution Certification and Class 2 Wastewater Treatment and Collection Certification or the ability to obtain these within six months of employment.
