Overview :

The Manager, Resource Development, Core Projects is responsible for coordinating multiple fundraising activities and priorities in a fast-paced Resource Development department. Primary duties include managing Core Projects initiatives to support the workplace campaign program, such as Employee Campaign Champion (ECC) training sessions, corporate direct mail, Sponsored Employee Program, small and medium workplace campaigns to ensure we are efficiently sending these supporters touchpoints throughout the year to Ask, Thank, and Report back on their gift.

This role will also connect with an assigned list of leadership donors to provide personalized touch-points throughout the Ask, Thank, Report back cycle. This role will require a healthy working relationship and collaboration with all departments of the organization to help liaise on a variety of cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of a project plan for Corporate Direct Mail program in conjunction with Data Team to maximize response rates and corporate revenue
  • Manage a portfolio of small and medium workplace campaigns and contribute to the development of a project plan with guidance from Senior Director, Resource Development, and execute steps to ensure workplaces receive year-round touch-points : Ask, Thank, Report Plan
  • Execute the Sponsorship Employee Program including recruitment, training, and ongoing supervision and management to ensure a positive experience for sponsored employees and tasks are effectively delegated to yield revenue growth
  • Recommend goals and monitoring progress of assigned portfolio to ensure projections are up-to-date and accurate
  • Participate in Leadership Pipeline strategy as a Leadership Donor Partner to a group of assigned leadership donors, providing personalized touchpoints throughout the ask, thank, report-back cycle
  • Ensure that accurate, up-to-date information is maintained in the constituent relationship management system for assigned portfolio
  • Support the smooth execution of the Workplace campaign program by helping to liaise and / or lead a variety of additional cross-departmental initiatives, including, but not limited to ECC training, pledge and event platforms, campaign donation processing, community engagement initiatives
  • Perform data analysis of Core Projects initiatives and recommend changes to project and approach where necessary to leverage opportunities and correct suboptimal account performance
  • Grow confidence in workplace campaign best practices to provide back-up support to Resource Development Managers as needed

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years fundraising, sales, or project management experience Project management and / or sales and marketing experience
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and updating a database
  • Experience with CRM system or equivalent an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze appropriate information for the purposes of problem solving and decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate and manage issues to resolution
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to effectively manage constituent stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and projects while remaining accountable to adhering to deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to carry projects to completion with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal and stakeholder service skills including the ability to work respectfully and inclusively with a diverse employee population and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to work with numbers and proven track record of accuracy
