Position Overview

As a member of a Home Care Team, reporting to the Team Manager, the incumbent supervises and ensures the efficient delivery of services to Home Care clients by coordinating Direct Service Staff (DSS), including ISWs, HCAs, HSWs, and RAs, in accordance with collective agreements, program standards, policies, and care plans.

The incumbent maintains a competent team of DSS to meet caseload demands, including recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating staff.

Experience
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Proficiency with computerized systems (Windows, Word, spreadsheets, databases).
  • Experience scheduling staff.
  • Related healthcare experience.

This position is designated bilingual, supporting services in both French and English, in accordance with government policies.

Éducation
  • Recognized post-secondary certificate or diploma in health services or social sciences.

Certification
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
