This position requires travel and collaboration with community workers and elders to provide culturally appropriate healing methods. Candidates must have a diploma in counselling and experience working with aboriginal people.
The Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council Teechuktl (Mental Health) Program is seeking a term (to March 31, 2026), full-time Resolution Health Support Worker to provide cultural and emotional support to residential school survivors and their families. This position also provides support completing Day Scholar and Indian Day School applications in community, and in urban settings. This position is based out of Port Alberni, and requires travel (including on gravel road, by boat, airplane and helicopter) into Southern and Northern Region communities.

Competitive benefit package and salary based on qualifications and experience : Annual salary range $56,000 - $63,000.
