Job summary

Riverstone Management Ltd. in Victoria, BC is seeking a Project Manager for Residential Construction. You will lead projects from concept to handover, coordinating with architects, consultants and trade partners to deliver high-performance custom homes.

You’ll own scope, budget, and timeline, while maintaining client communication, safety, and quality on site. The role offers on-site leadership within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing residential construction projects.
• 10+ years in the industry preferred.
• Clear communication and client updates throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Shape projects from ground up, defining scope, budget and vision with clients before construction.
• Build relationships with architects, consultants and trade partners to keep things moving.
• Own the schedule and budget, with autonomy to make critical calls to stay on track.
• Solve real-time site problems with the Construction Manager to stay ahead of issues.

Project Manager - Residential Construction

The Company

Our client builds high-performance custom homes and renovations in the Greater Victoria area, and they've built a reputation on doing the planning right before a shovel hits the ground. Less firefighting on site, more calm, coordinated execution. It's a small, tight-knit team that runs on transparency and trust, both with each other and with the clients they build for.

The Opportunity

This is a chance to run your own projects start to finish and shape how they come together, not just execute someone else's plan. You'll sit at the centre of every build: shaping the budget and timeline with clients from day one, working alongside architects and consultants through design, and steering the project through permitting, construction and handover.

You'll get to:

• Shape projects from the ground up, working directly with clients to define scope, budget and vision before construction even starts
• Build real relationships with architects, consultants and trade partners, and be the person they trust to keep things moving
• Own the schedule and the budget, with the autonomy to make the calls that keep a project on track
• Solve problems in real time on site, working closely with the Construction Manager to keep the team ahead of issues, not behind them
• Set the tone for safety and quality on your projects
• See a project through from first sketch to final walk-through, and hand clients a home they're proud of

What You Bring

• 5+ years managing residential construction projects, 10+ years in the industry preferred
• You communicate clearly, stay calm when things get tense, and keep clients in the loop
• You're organized, detail-driven and comfortable in Google Suite and PM software
