Overview

Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 per year (DOE)Full-Time, Onsite Position

Location: 77 Trails End Road, Eureka, Montana 59917

As a Residential Manager, you will lead a team of Mentors and Shift Supervisors within your assigned house, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for our students. This role requires hands-on leadership, excellent communication skills, and a heart for service. You will manage scheduling, safety, staff development, and the overall atmosphere and upkeep of your residential home.

Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Development
  • Supervise and support Mentors and Shift Supervisors.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
  • Provide regular performance evaluations and disciplinary guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and the Program Director during the hiring process; make final hiring decisions.
Program & House Operations
  • Delegate responsibilities and ensure smooth shift transitions.
  • Ensure the residential calendar is executed effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, well-decorated, and welcoming living space.
Student Support & Safety
  • Monitor student progress and wellbeing during residential hours.
  • Implement treatment team directives and therapeutic strategies in the home.
  • Lead and document quarterly safety drills; ensure compliance across shifts.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Attend and represent your house in weekly interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
  • Conduct thorough shift-change meetings and communicate key updates to incoming staff.
  • Partner with clinical, academic, and program staff to ensure consistency in student care.
Qualifications
  • 21+ years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required; associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field a plus, but not a requirement!
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen in concordance with Montana state laws
  • Ability to pass federal and state background checks
  • Current Montana driver's license or ability to obtain a Montana driver’s license upon hire
  • Ability to perform CPR and First Aid
  • Ability to apply provided training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention with an upset or combative client
  • Preferred - one year of experience working with adolescent populations and management experience
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to program or daily adjustments
