Job summary

Skyline Living is seeking an experienced maintenance/janitorial professional to keep our apartment and condominium properties clean and safe. You will work on-site at multiple locations, performing routine cleaning, minor repairs, and tenant-facing tasks with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, a 1–2 year college credential, and owns a valid driver’s licence. A criminal background check is required; on-site housing options and parking are available

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in cleaning/maintenance.
• College certificate or diploma 1–2 years program required.
• On-site work at apartment/condominium complexes.
• Criminal record check required.
• Own transportation and valid driver’s licence.
• Physically demanding with lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris.
• Empty trash cans and waste containers.
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist tradespersons for major repairs.
• Advertise vacancies and show units to prospective tenants.
• Move heavy furniture and equipment; assist with painting and drywall as needed.
• Winter duties: clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
• Conduct safety and security checks and report issues.
