The Role
District Group is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Residential Leasing Agent to work with our property management team on a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing and leasing a 120 unit rental residential apartment complex in Westbank, BC, guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process, negotiating lease terms, screening prospective tenants and ensuring a seamless move-in experience. You will serve as the first point of contact for potential renters, providing excellent customer service while meeting leasing goals and ensuring optimal occupancy rates for the property. You will also be expected to provide reporting, analysis and recommendations.
The agent will report directly to the Director, Property Management Operations, and will be an experienced and dedicated agent with 3 - 7 years of real estate leasing or sales experience with extensive Okanagan real estate market knowledge. Strong communication and people skills are required with frequent interactions with prospective tenants, property management and executives.

Job Type: Contract, full-time
Hourly Rate: $28 - 30/hour
Additional Pay: Commissions
Schedule: Hours and days of the week may vary with weekend work expected. 30 - 40 hours a week expected.
Location: A rental office will be located on the rental residential property at 3567 Carrington Road, Westbank, BC.
