Responsibilities

• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment per specs and codes.
• Lead installations, mentor apprentices, and ensure safety and quality.
• Complete commissioning reports and accurate documentation.
• Educate customers on proper operation and maintenance.
• Support sales with upgrade opportunities and accurate measurements.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work vehicle and site.

About the Role

Competitive Compensation

Base Pay: $29–$38/hour (depending on experience)

Commissions:

• On equipment replacement sales from qualified referrals
• On residential and commercial maintenance package sales
• Performance Bonuses for meeting and exceeding service and customer goals

Key Responsibilities

• Treat every customer’s home with care, professionalism, and respect
• Install furnaces, air conditioners, ductless systems, heat pumps, boilers, and accessories per manufacturer specs and local codes
• Complete commissioning reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and thorough
• Ensure safe operation of new installations and educate customers on proper use and maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe company vehicle
• Meet company performance goals by:
• Minimizing call-backs
• Communicating upgrade opportunities and inquiries to the sales team
• Recording all required safety measurements and documentation
• Adhere to all safety standards and company procedures
• Uphold honesty and integrity—never sell unnecessary repairs or services
• Lead by example and support apprentices through mentorship and hands‑on guidance

Qualifications

• Valid G2 Gas License with extensive installation experience
• Valid 313D Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate of Qualification
• ODP Certification
• Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean record
• Minimum 7 years of experience as an HVAC installer or lead installer
• Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks
• Proven ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and installation manuals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as required
• Leadership mindset with a focus on quality, teamwork, and mentorship
