You start your morning in the Portland, OR area, truck stocked and tablet synced. Your first stop: a homeowner with uneven cooling. You connect gauges, diagnose refrigerant and electrical issues, explain options clearly, and complete a precise repair. Next, you recommend efficiency upgrades, sell the right solution, and install components to factory specs. Throughout the day, you capture notes and estimates on your smartphone, keep safety front and center, and collaborate with a team that has your back.

By afternoon, you’re handling a heat pump tune-up, ensuring airflow is dialed in, and mentoring a junior tech on troubleshooting. You wrap up with ServiceTitan entries, confirm the customer is thrilled, and head home knowing you delivered a red-carpet experience.

What you’ll do

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems with precision
  • Perform service, maintenance, and installation tasks while adhering to EPA and safety standards
  • Educate homeowners, present options, and close service/sales opportunities
  • Document work, estimates, and recommendations on a smartphone/tablet (ServiceTitan experience is a plus)
  • Collaborate with the team, share knowledge, and model leadership on every call

Compensation & benefits

Full-time role with an hourly rate starting at $40.00+ depending on experience, plus pension. You’ll also receive:
