About The Role

The Residential Housekeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our rental units in our Parkway building in Surrey while facilitating swift and efficient turnover cleaning. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and able to build a strong rapport with our residents. Additionally, this role requires flexibility to take on various cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the overall well-being of our properties.

Responsibilities
  • Turnover Cleaning: Conduct thorough and efficient cleaning of rental units between occupancies, ensuring they are move-in ready for new residents.
  • Regular Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and laundry rooms, to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Apartment Inspections: Inspect and report any damage or maintenance issues in rental units, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain the quality of living for our residents.
  • Rapport Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing any cleaning or maintenance concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Flex Duties: Be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities beyond housekeeping, such as light maintenance work or assisting the property management team during busy periods.
  • Supply Management: Keep track of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when reordering is necessary to ensure uninterrupted cleaning services.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents and fellow team members.
  • Resident Assistance: Offer assistance and guidance to residents when needed, enhancing their living experience in our rental properties.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or similar roles is preferred.
  • Strong eye for detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build positive relationships with residents and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently to meet turnover deadlines while maintaining quality results.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities as required in a dynamic residential environment.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Familiarity with effective cleaning methods, products, and tools.

Salary

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.

Salary

$47,800—$65,700 CAD
