Job summary

DHT, a growing Canadian-based technology and field services firm, is seeking Field Technicians in Kitchener to provide onsite installations and service for CATV, Digital, Internet, and Home Phone services. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft applications, and a valid G class driver's license. Experience in telecommunications or as an electrician is preferred. This role requires working independently within established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an electrician or technician.
• Previous installations, field services and/or telecommunication industry experience as an asset.
• Valid license (G class in Canada), with an excellent driving record.
• Must provide a satisfactory criminal background certificate.
• Some sales background an asset.
• Some mathematical ability required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite installations and service work for various telecommunications services.

Provide onsite installations and service work for CATV, Digital, Internet, Fibre, Home Phone and Security Home Monitoring services on behalf of the Company’s Cable Communications Business Partner and ensures all the work is completed to standards.
