Responsibilities

• Prepare complete residential construction drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes, zoning bylaws, and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems with trade partners.
• Plan revisions: Update drawings for client, site, municipal, and engineering changes.
• Project estimates: Prepare detailed cost estimates (including material take-offs).
• Trade and supplier quotes: Obtain and evaluate quotes to maintain competitive project costs.
• Value engineering: Identify alternatives to reduce costs while maintaining design intent.
