Job description

The Residential Designer will contribute to all stages of project development, working with consultants in completing various project deliverables. The responsibilities will include conception, design-to-fit customer needs, and team collaboration.

Essential Functions

  • Creation, design, and execution of projects in Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development and tender packages.
  • Development of innovative and functional design solutions and processes.
  • Identify specific needs on architectural guidelines for new subdivisions.
  • Design new homes, new elevations and site plans.
  • Coordination with Purchasing and Marketing departments.
  • Release drawings to Purchasing department.
  • Support the Marketing department in preparation of marketing materials.
  • Contribute to the review of the drawing packages for accuracy, design integrity and code compliance.
  • Organize and present new ideas to stakeholders.
  • Quantity take offs and estimating as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
