Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts is located in Rutland, MA, serving students with complex mental health and behavioral challenges. This position is responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned and provides therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.

The IDEAL candidate will...
Physical Requirements: Significant walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and resistance management, including physical intervention techniques up to 75-100 lbs. or more. Repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.
Work Environment: Mostly indoor work in well-lit, ventilated areas. Temperature fluctuations possible. Use of protective equipment such as gloves, masks, eyewear, and gowns. Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Physical involvement in Safe and Positive Approaches exercises.
