Job summary

Evolution HR Services (Vancouver Island) is recruiting a General Manager for a multimillion-dollar residential construction and home improvement business. You will lead a strong, accountable team, translate vision into practical plans, manage budgets, and guide growth while ensuring client satisfaction and safety.

The role is based in the Cowichan Valley with travel to Victoria and other project sites, requiring organized, practical leadership and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Senior-level construction/renovation leadership experience.
• Proven ability to build and retain strong teams and accountability.
• Strategic thinker who translates goals into practical plans.
• Excellent communication with clients, staff and subcontractors.
• Experience planning and managing residential projects and budgets.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret reports.
