Job summary

Sterling Homes is seeking a Construction Coordinator (Single Family) for a temporary role in Edmonton, AB. You will support office and site management through the production process, ensuring efficient construction with organized schedules and specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in residential construction, strong communication, and solid knowledge of construction processes, with a valid driver’s licence and ability to work in an office setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in residential construction.
• Understanding construction processes and procedures.
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
• Research materials and processes for energy-efficient home building.
• Assist in invoice review and monitoring for accuracy.
• Develop project and trade scopes of work and Pre-Construction schedules.
• Provide schedule updates for management and possession date confirmation.
• Build positive relationships with trades and municipal staff.
• Support management on other projects or duties as assigned.
• Prepare and distribute documentation and purchase/change orders to suppliers or trades.
• Promote safe work environment following Qualico Safety Program.
