Job description

As a Residential Collector with Irving Oil, you will identify and manage credit risk for residential accounts within a specific portfolio. You will balance inbound and outbound contacts with residential customers and work with them to manage repayment plans and accept and process payments. Preparing accounts for placement with third-party collections, supporting credit approvals on residential accounts, and sending daily notifications to customers are also part of this role's responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

1. Conduct inbound and outbound calls professionally and sensitively
2. Manage customer repayment plans and accept/process payments
3. Prepare accounts for placement with third-party collections (legal or agency)
4. Identify and manage risk within the collection portfolio
5. Prioritize calls based on objective criteria
6. Maintain accounts as required
7. Participate in projects and team initiatives as needed
