Duties:

• Coordinating, assigning, and reviewing the work of various security guards such as night security guard and the stationed driveway security guard.
• Providing personal protection for the client.
• Assessing risks, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Establishing client’s work schedules in order to coordinate procedures and safety measures with other units or departments.
• Conducting foot patrols of the client’s residential property to detect and deter unwanted activities and conducting surveillance of activities at various venues and ensuring no other individuals or companies are participating in counter surveillance.
• Ensuring smooth operation of security systems, equipment, and machinery, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.
• Maintaining diligent observation efforts throughout assignments.
• Resolving work-related problems and performing security advances, as necessary.
• Producing timely, complete, and articulate Incident Reports and Verbal Reports when necessary.
• Operating assigned vehicles during client movements.
• Learning and memorizing entrances, exits, and parking situations.
• Accompanying clients during travel between Canada and the United States.
• Ensuring the safety of principal and family members.
• Assessing risks and planning to minimize threats to establish and maintain secure environments.
• Maintaining security of household and vehicles.
• Using physical intervention as necessary.
• Responding to medical emergencies.

Requirements:

• Education in Criminology, Security License, valid driver's license.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Strong base knowledge in all facets of protective operations with a minimum of one year experience working in corporate executive protection.
• Close protection, VIP protection training is required.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must have excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Must fluently read, speak, and write the English language.
• Must always be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent

Hours of Work: 40 hours/week
