Job summary

Northview Residential Reit is seeking a Building Caretaker for its Prince George, BC property. Reporting to the Property Manager, you will maintain cleanliness, safety, and the overall condition of common areas, grounds, and surrounding areas while assisting with minor maintenance tasks.

You will respond to residents’ questions professionally, perform seasonal groundskeeping, and help prepare vacant suites.

Qualifications

• Experience in building caretaking, janitorial, cleaning, groundskeeping, or property maintenance is preferred.
• Experience interacting professionally with residents, tenants, contractors and coworkers is beneficial.
• Ability to safely handle and use cleaning products and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented common areas and building exteriors.
• Perform routine cleaning, groundskeeping, seasonal upkeep and minor maintenance.
• Respond to resident questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with vacant suites preparation and common area upkeep as required.
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed per Northview policies.
