Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Supervise client actions and interactions during assigned shifts, providing personal and moral support.
  • Respond to client questions and requests, assisting within the framework of centre policies and procedures.
  • Accurately record daily events, maintain logbooks and computer files, and complete incident reports.
  • Coordinate client security, including building rounds, bed and curfew checks, room searches, and monitoring camera systems.
  • Administer drug and alcohol screening tests according to established protocols.
  • Administer medication to clients at required times, ensuring documentation via medication logs.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have completed up to two years of Community College, with relevant education or experience in human services, addiction support, or related fields. Must be willing to work overnight and weekend shifts, and be able to work within a unionized environment. Other requirements include excellent communication skills, crisis management, diversity awareness, strong interpersonal skills, and computer proficiency. A current Vulnerable Sector check and Protected B Status are required; bilingual skills (French-English) and CPI/First Aid certifications are assets.

Compensation
